While EA DICE’s 2015 Star Wars Battlefront reboot nailed the look and feel of the many epic battles of the Star Wars movies, it was an ultimately shallow experience that was criticized for its lack of engaging single player content and expensive downloadable content.Īdmittedly, DICE made strides to try and address some of these issues, including the addition of an offline Skirmish mode last summer that allowed players to play some of the game’s exciting multiplayer maps and modes offline in split-screen with A.I.
